Thank you, you've been most kind! We have to look at things differently now that you've been literally forced to look at your life from a different perspective! Whenever that happens, it is now a time to pause and to sort out what it is you really want out of life. This begins with identifying those unhappy thoughts you had around the time of your concussion. There is an important trend in medicine right now. It is this: Your psychological well being is intimately tied to your physical well being. Modern medicine is ONLY just beginning to understand it. But it will take a very long time before they get any truly meaningful tools in place. As it is, most conventional psychologists use only the first level, cognitive side, techniques such as talk therapy to bring you to a point of neutral - emotionally flat. In order to get anywhere you need to FEEL good about yourself again. A concussion is a sign of confusion or lack of clarity in your life. The concussion has only exacerbated it.
